Thunderstorm winds damaged several pool and porch screen enclosures, at the Placid Lakes subdivision five miles southwest of Lake Placid. Also, solar panels were blown off a roof in the subdivision. In Lake Placid, two large trees at least two-feet in diameter were downed by thunderstorm winds.
