Jefferson County Emergency Management reported downed trees and power power lines in Wacissa.
Lightning threw a 44-year-old Sergeant through a doorway of the Florida National Guard Armory in St. Petersburg. The soldier, who was knocked unconscious as he flew across a desk, was taken to the hospital. Thunderstorm winds in Gulfport blew down several tress and did minor damage to boats. The Coast Guard spotted a waterspout just west of Anclote Key.
