Trees were downed near Wildlife Lodge Road. A two-propeller Beechcraft enroute from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh was struck by lightning near Latrobe. Smoke filled the cockpit, but no injuries were reported. The plane safely landed at Allegheny County Airport.
