Thunderstorms dropped copious ice pellets (small hail), which accumulated to a few inches on Interstate 84 between Baker City and Lagrande in Ladd Canyon. Three minor accidents occurred on the icy highway and sveral other vehicles skidded into the median. No one was injured.
