A line of severe thunderstorms along the western border of Oklahoma the evening of the 20th moved slowly eastward across western Oklahoma. The strongest storms persisted into the early morning hours of the 21st and produced up to half-dollar-sized hail and strong winds in southern Oklahoma. In Cotton County 7 miles SE of Devol (just north of the Red River) a tractor-trailer was blown over on Interstate 44, blocking 3 lanes for 2 hours.
