Thunderstorms in northern and central Oklahoma during the early morning hours on the 29th produced damaging lightning, damaging winds, and hail up to nickel-size. Thunderstorm winds downed a large tree limb on a truck in McLoud and downed tree limbs in Luther and three miles east of Tonkawa. A lightning strike damaged a television eight and one-half miles north-northeast of Leedey.
