Thunderstorms in northwest Oklahoma during the late evening hours on the 24th and early morning hours on the 25th produced damaging winds and damaging lightning. Thunderstorm winds ripped a section of a roof off a mobile home 6 miles north of Alva. Significant water damage from rain occurred after the roof was ripped off the mobile home. Lightning started a fire in a oil tank 15 miles northwest of Alva.

Severe thunderstorms redeveloped in northeast Oklahoma during the late evening of July 24th and early morning of July 25th. Strong thunderstorm winds blew the roof off a well house and caused minor tree damage 5 miles east of Tahlequah. Thunderstorm winds downed a large tree on old U.S. Highway 169 near Collinsville, and numerous large tree limbs were downed in Proctor and 3 miles southwest of Westville in the town of Adilee. Nickel-size hail fell 5 miles east of Tahlequah, and dime-size hail fell at Avant.
