Trees downed, some on power lines. A section of roof was torn from a furniture store.
Winds to at least 70 mph, possibly from a microburst, damaged several stores in the College shopping area. Windows were shattered and signs downed. A woman sales clerk in the cactus area of a Woolworth's store had to be treated for wounds received from airborn objects and debris.
