A severe thunderstorm with large hail broke windows and produced some very unusual damage to cars across eastern Albuquerque. Several motorists had to be rescued after cars stalled in arroyo low water crossings. A 12-year-old girl suffered minor injuries when knocked from her bike by a near-hit lightning strike.
