Thunderstorms produced winds of 60 to 80 mph as they moved southeast across central Nebraska on the 19th. Trees were uprooted or blown over in Boelus, Dannebrog, St. Libory, Cairo, Grand Island, Doniphan, Aurora, fairmont, Geneva and Hastings. Some of the trees fell on power lines causing power outages. In Cairo, a building that was under construction was blown down. A mobile home sustained major damage and a large billboard was blown down in Alda. In Grand Island, a grain bin and a garage were destroyed. A considerable amount of roof damage occurred at two businesses and one residence. A wind gust of 77 mph was measured at the Hastings National Weather Service Office. Grain bins were destroyed near Aurora and Shickley. In Sutton, a semi-trailer was overturned, two propane tanks were blow over and windows were blown out of a business. The roof of the court house in Geneva was damaged by thunderstorm winds.
