Wind blew down trees across roadways, and caused a semi-tractor trailer to turn over in the ditch along Interstate 69 just south of Southern Road.
A small tornado touched down, for less than 30 seconds, along LaChance Road in extreme eastern Missaukee County. This was about two miles from the Wexford County line. A farm house received structural damage to one corner of the roof. A full livestock feeder was lifted and moved about 100 yards. Although a funnel was not observed on the ground, a funnel cloud was seen by a neighbor over the farm at the precise time that the damage occurred. Pea-size hail and brief heavy showers occurred prior to the tornado.
A barn and silo were damaged. A travel trailer was damaged by fallen trees. One man was injured when a tree fell on his vehicle. Sheriff Department received reports of tornadoes, but none were confirmed.
