Thunderstorms over northwest Lousiana, a few reaching severe intensity, produced hail to the size of of a golf ball, and damaging wind gusts. The wind gusts downed trees in several areas. Rainfall amounts of near three inches were associated with the thunderstorms in the Shreveport area producing localized street flooding.
