Severe thunderstorms produced hail, and strong winds which downed trees and power lines in several communities in north and west central Louisiana. A wind gust of 62 mph was recorded at Haile, and roof damage to barns was reported near Chestnut, and Stevenson. Heavy rainfall was associated with many of the thunderstorms which produced localized flooding of rural roadways.
