Severe thunderstorms moved southeast across much of north and portions of central Louisiana during the evening of the 26th and early morning hours of the 27th. Wind damage was primarily confined to downed trees and large tree limbs which subsequently downed power lines. A farm building near Alsatia was damaged by thunderstorm wind gusts.
