Thunderstorm winds blew trees over onto power lines and a couple of homes in Fayetteville near the intersection of Georgia Highways 314 and 85. A total of 2,800 homes and businesses were out of power for at least two hours.

Large tree limbs were blown down by thunderstorm winds onto a double-wide trailer in LaGrange. The roof, attic and living room ceiling of the home was moderately damaged. Several power and T.V. cable lines were downed throughout LaGrange which caused numerous power outages for three to four hours.
