Trees were blown down and minor roof damage was caused by thunderstorms moving across the northern portion of Mobile County in the area of the Semmes Community. One person reported hail with the thunderstorms, but no size was available.

A five-minute duration of nickel-size hail was reported by the Daphne Police Department. There was a significant outbreak of severe weather across north and central Alabama on Palm Sunday, March 27, 1994. The severe weather began in the morning around 0900 CST and continued throughout the day and into the nighttime hours. The weather affected Alabama in waves with four waves of weather moving through the state. In trying to unravel the events of the day after the fact, there is a great deal of confusion and uncertainty about the times of many events. This stems from the fact that these waves of severe weather moved over many of the same counties three or four times. Every attempt has been made to get this information as correct as possible. It is also possible that some smaller events may not have been reported since there was so much attention drawn to the three major tornado events in Dekalb, St. Clair, Calhoun, Cherokee, and Shelby Counties.
