Thunderstorm winds knocked down trees in several locations in the northeast section of the county. A tree fell on a mobile home and caused minor damage.
Thunderstorm winds knocked down trees in several places in the southern part of the county.
Damaging thunderstorm winds knocked down some trees near Yale, and knocked down numerous trees and power lines near Stony Creek.
Lightning struck a house near Danville, starting a fire that was put out quickly. A small area near Danville was hit briefly by damaging thunderstorm winds. The wind tore the roof of a porch off, overturned a cement table and knocked down several trees.
