In Sanford police reported that roofing material was ripper off an appartment building on Island Avenue, a large sign at the bowling alley on Route 4a was downed - this sign was supported by three inch diameter iron poles (wind estimated 80 knots or more). In Springvale a weather spotter reported a mobile home was taken off its foundation.
