Scattered thunderstorms moving northeast about 30 mph blew down several oak trees in Oberlin. In addition, several power lines were knocked down by thunderstorm winds in Ville Platte.

A line of numerous thunderstorm moving east at 25 mph produced 1.5 inch hail at Grand Isle according to the mayor's office. Seventy-four mph wind gusts were measured at the Coast Guard Staion on the east end of the island. The strong winds blew the roof off from a mobile home and damaged several utility buildings at a marina.
