Roofs blown off, trees uprooted, and power interrupted to some 20,000 customers. Power poles were snapped by high winds on the west side of the city. Winds reached as high as 60 mph at the National Weather Service in Tucson.
The Mountain Gate Mobile Home Park was hit by strong winds from thunderstorms that moved north through the city. Seventy-six units were damaged, with six being destroyed and four having major damage. About 10,000 customers lost power for varying amounts of time.
