The worst hit areas were Big Oak Campground, Yellow Creek, Blue Pond, Barrett's Chapel Church, Hopewell, and Jamestown. Thirty-one homes were damaged. Four were destroyed. Thirteen received major damage, while damage to the others was minor. Also, golfball-size hail fell at about the same time.
