There were two feet of standing water at the intersection of Highways 190 and 127, water and debris over Highway 190 at Furnace Creek, and the following roads were closed: Badwater Road from Jubilee Road to Highway 190, all of West Side Road, and all of Twenty Mule Team Road.

A best track is the record a warning agency settles on after the storm, not what it said at the time: position, maximum sustained wind and central pressure every six hours, revised against every observation that came in later.
