Flash flooding waters affected the area just north of Ala Moana Mall along Keeaumoku Street near Walmart on Oahu. Other areas with flooding problems included the intersections of King and Alakea, 11th and Waialae, and Beretania and Piikoi.

High water from flooding closed the Hana Highway between mile markers 29 and 36 near Hana on the island of Maui. Several schools in the Hana area, and around Kaunakakai on Molokai, were closed for the day because of the road flooding and power outages.

A best track is the record a warning agency settles on after the storm, not what it said at the time: position, maximum sustained wind and central pressure every six hours, revised against every observation that came in later.
