A 55-year-old man died and his wife was injured when the roof of their thatched house in Dahanu collapsed following an earthquake early on Thursday[...]In Dahanu's Vasavalpada village, locals rushed out of their homes when the tremor struck at 1.03am. Cracks developed in several homes in the village. It was only the roof of Rishya Meghwali's house that came crashing on him and his wife. They were taken to the government hospital where Meghwali succumbed to head injuries. (reference #12473)
