According to the latest reports, 4 people died and dozens have been injured. Houses, schools and hospitals have collapsed, including a commercial building in Padala where 5 people are trapped. Several areas have been left without power and schools near the epicentre have been suspended. (reference #12571)
A total of 13 dead, 210 injured and 1 missing were reported in Regions XI and XII. A total of 76 public structures were damaged, 397 schools partially damaged, 62 health facilities damaged and 184 other structures damaged. A total of 14021 damaged houses were reported in municipalities of Hagonoy, Matanao and Padada, Davao del Sur in Region XI, of which 4546 were totally damaged and 21495 partially damaged(reference #12573, 12575, 12576, 12577, 12578, 12581)
