Felt (V) at Craig, Hydaburg and Klawock; (IV) at Gustavus, Hoonah, Juneau, Ketchikan, Metlakatla, Petersburg, Sitka, Skagway and Wrangell; (III) at Douglas, Haines and Thorne Bay. Felt (III) at Nechako, Kitimat, Prince Rupert, Skeena and Terrace; (II) at Smithers, Vancouver and Vanderhoof, British Columbia. Felt (III) at Whitehorse, Yukon. Felt widely in southeastern Alaska and southern British Columbia and as far as Haines Junction, Yukon and Seattle, Washington. A tsunami was recorded with wave heights (in cm above sea level) of 14 at Port Alexander, 7 at Sitka, 2 at Elfin Cove and 2 at Craig, Alaska. (reference #1053, 13456)
