1807 June 06, 15 hr 57 min, 9 12.0 W 38 42. 0 N, Lisbon, intensity VI to VII. Note: Death table list 11 deaths on 08 June, possible should be 06 June. (reference #12773)
1807 June 06. At 16hr felt in Lisbon a strong earthquake, comparable, according to Perrey, to the 1755 event, followed shortly after another. Lasted 10 to 12 s. The sea has calm and no damages. (reference #9896)

1807 June 06, 4pm, Lisbon, Also at Oporto and other parts of Portugal. A violent shock, said to be comparable to the great one of 1755, and followed immediately by a second. Duration = 10 or 12 seconds. The motion was horizontal and vertical, but badly observed. The sea remained calm. The shock was felt on board a frigate 8 leagues off the Rock of Lisbon. No disasters ensued from this earthquake. The Annual Register gives the date 6th July and says several houses were thrown down. (reference #497)
