...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Wisconsin...Illinois... Root River Canal At Raymond affecting Racine County. Fox River Lower Near New Munster affecting Kenosha and Lake Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Fox River Lower near New Munster. * WHEN...From this evening to Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Water is up to the first floor levels of some homes in the Town of Wheatland, Silver Lake and Village of Salem Lakes area along Riverside Drive and Shorewood Drive. Hoosier Creek Rd floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 10.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 11.9 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.7 feet on 05/10/2019. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* WHAT...Life threatening waves of 7 to 12 feet today into tonight, becoming 6 to 9 feet for Monday through Wednesday. Dangerous currents are expected. * WHERE...Sheboygan, Ozaukee, Milwaukee, Racine and Kenosha Counties. * WHEN...Through early Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming conditions are expected due to high waves and onshore winds.

What to do

Stay out of the water and away from dangerous areas like piers and breakwalls. Strong structural and longshore currents are expected. Rip currents are possible.
