Southwestern Union County in Upstate South Carolina... * Until 645 PM EDT. * At 559 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 14 miles south of Union, or near Whitmire, moving southwest at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines. * Locations impacted include... Clinton, Joanna, Rose Hill State Park, Kinards, and Sedalia.
