* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northwestern Clinton County in southwestern Ohio... Northeastern Warren County in southwestern Ohio... Southwestern Clark County in west central Ohio... Greene County in west central Ohio... * WHEN...Until 1100 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 836 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Beavercreek, Fairborn, Xenia, Lebanon, Wilmington, Bellbrook, Yellow Springs, Wright-Patterson Afb, Cedarville, Waynesville, Jamestown, Wilberforce, New Jasper, Clarksville, Harveysburg, Spring Valley, Corwin, Bowersville, Port William and Clifton.

What to do

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
