* Tornado Warning for...
  Northeastern Greene County in southwestern Missouri...

* Until 745 PM CDT.

* At 711 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over northeastern Springfield, moving northeast at 25
  mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Northeastern Springfield, Strafford, Fair Grove, and Bassville.

This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 77 and 88.

NORTHEASTERN GREENE COUNTY...

At 726 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over northeastern Springfield, moving northeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Strafford, Fair Grove, and Bassville.

This includes Interstate 44 near mile marker 86.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN GREENE COUNTY WILL EXPIRE AT
745 PM CDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, heavy
rain is still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for southwestern
Missouri.
