North central Las Animas County in southeastern Colorado...
* Until midnight MDT.
* At 1118 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located 13 miles east of Walsenburg, or 35 miles north
of Trinidad, moving south at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

At 1131 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 13 miles east of Walsenburg, or 33 miles north of
Trinidad, moving south at 15 mph.
