The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Central Rockdale County in north central Georgia... 
  Southeastern DeKalb County in north central Georgia...

* Until 630 AM EDT.

* At 610 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a 
  tornado was located over Snapfinger, or 8 miles southeast of 
  Decatur, moving east at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught 
           without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or 
           destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will 
           occur.  Tree damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Conyers, Lithonia, Lakeview Estates, Belmont, Arabia Mountain,
  Snapfinger, Redan, and Panthersville.

COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 630 AM EDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe 
limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM EDT for north 
central Georgia.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement 
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather 
Service Peachtree City.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect
