The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Dunn County in west central Wisconsin...

* Until 415 PM CDT.

* At 341 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a 
  tornado was located 6 miles southwest of Menomonie, moving 
  northeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught
           without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or
           destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will
           occur. Tree damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Menomonie, Boyceville, Knapp, Wheeler, Ridgeland, Tainter Lake, 
  Cedar Falls and Menomonie Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built 
building away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, 
or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect 
yourself from flying debris.

The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been 
cancelled. However, large hail and damaging winds remain likely and 
a Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for a portion of 
west central Wisconsin.
