  Northeastern Cattaraugus County in western New York...

* Until 600 PM EDT.

* At 536 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Ashford, or 8 miles northeast of Salamanca, moving
  northeast at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

  Ashford, Franklinville, Great Valley, Ischua, Lyndon, Humphrey,
  Ellicottville, and Lime Lake-Machias.

miles northeast of Salamanca, moving northeast at 15 mph.
