For the higher elevations (Anchorage Hillside, Hiland Road, and higher elevations of Eagle River) southeast winds 30 to 60 mph with gusts to 80 mph expected. * WHERE...Anchorage / Eagle River (all elevations). * WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 6 AM AKDT Monday. * IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property, and cause power outages. Travel will be difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A brief period of intense winds are expected around midnight tonight as a strong front moves through the area. Winds are expected to channel through the mountain gaps including, but not limited to: Turnagain Arm, Ship Creek, South Fork and Eagle River.
