* At 229 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain falling across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches
of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches
are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

MORNING FOR CAPE MAY AND SOUTHEASTERN CUMBERLAND COUNTIES...

that rain was starting to taper off, though it may take time for
runoff to recede. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
