Central Blue Earth County in south central Minnesota...
Southeastern Nicollet County in south central Minnesota...
* Until 230 PM CDT.
* At 1140 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 1.5 inches in 1
hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

At 122 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported flooded roads and
mud slides in and near Mankato. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

The heavy rain has ended. Flash flooding is no longer expected to
pose a threat, but flooding will be slow to recede with additional
rainfall forecast. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
