For the Beach Hazards Statement, through this evening. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Strong southerly winds will produce rough surf and a strong northward flowing longshore current today, which can push swimmers into deeper water unexpectedly and make them more susceptible to dangerous rip currents. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... High surf will affect the beaches in the advisory area, producing localized beach erosion and dangerous swimming conditions.
