* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 524 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Taylorville, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM CDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN CHRISTIAN AND NORTHWESTERN SHELBY COUNTIES...

At 538 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Assumption, or 7 miles north of Pana, moving east at
45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Christian and northwestern Shelby Counties.
