possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Gonzales, La Grange, Schulenburg, Flatonia, Waelder, Fayetteville,
Round Top, Muldoon, Cistern, Carmine, O'Quinn, Floy, Freyburg,
Swiss Alp, West Point, Engle, Plum, High Hill, Colony and Kirtley.
Rainfall coverage and intensity decreased between 830 PM and 955 PM,
but a new round of thunderstorms has taken shape just west of the
warning area. This round of heavy rain will likely create new areas
of flooding and exacerbate the flooding already in progress.

MORNING FOR FAYETTE AND NORTHEASTERN GONZALES COUNTIES...
At 1242 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area of eastern Gonzales and all of
Fayette Counties. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Gonzales, La Grange, Schulenburg, Flatonia, Waelder, Fayetteville,
Round Top, Muldoon, Cistern, Carmine, O'Quinn, Floy, Freyburg,
Swiss Alp, West Point, Engle, Plum, High Hill, Colony and Kirtley.
Numerous road closures have been confirmed by Emergency Managers and
local officials across Fayette and much of eastern Gonzales
Counties. These additional rounds of moderate to heavy rain will
likely keep the roads impassable for much of the night.
