  Southeastern Otero County in southeastern Colorado...
  Northeastern Las Animas County in southeastern Colorado...
  Southwestern Bent County in southeastern Colorado...

* Until 815 PM MDT.
    
* At 739 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Higbee, or 14 miles south of North La Junta,
  moving southeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to three inches in diameter.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest

At 755 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 10 miles south of Higbee, or 25 miles south of North La
Junta, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.
