The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  South central Kiowa County in southeastern Colorado...
  North central Bent County in southeastern Colorado...

* Until 615 PM MDT.
    
* At 533 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 7 miles east of Blue Lake, or 30 miles northwest of
  Lamar, moving southeast at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to three inches in diameter.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  south central Kiowa and north central Bent Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SOUTHWESTERN KIOWA AND NORTH CENTRAL BENT COUNTIES...
    
At 559 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Hasty, or 19 miles northwest of Lamar, moving
southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Kiowa and north central Bent Counties.
