The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Cape May County in southern New Jersey...

* Until 400 PM EDT.

* At 350 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Avalon, or 12
  miles northeast of Cape May, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is 
           possible.

* Locations impacted include...
  North Wildwood, Sea Isle City, Avalon, Stone Harbor, Cape May Court
  House, Scotch Bonnet, West Wildwood and Whitesboro-Burleigh.

This includes Garden State Parkway between mile markers 5 and 17.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

In addition to large hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to
ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors
immediately. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough
to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
