The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southern Baldwin County in southwestern Alabama...

* Until 215 PM CDT.

* At 1020 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 
  2 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 
  2 to 4 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is 
  already occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas. This includes
           along Wolf Creek near Elberta where rises of several
           feet have occurred this morning and additional heavy
           rain may exacerbate flooding in areas near Wolf Creek.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Gulf Shores, Foley, Orange Beach, Magnolia Springs, Bon Secour, 
  Elberta, Fort Morgan, Gasque, Gulf Highlands and Miflin.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Owens Bayou, Fish River, Noltie Creek, Weeks Creek, Weeks Branch, 
  Gulf of Mexico, Mobile Bay, Eslava Branch, Magnolia River, Perdido 
  Bay, Sandy Creek, Schoolhouse Branch, Wolf Creek and Skunk Bayou.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
