  Northwestern Cherry County in north central Nebraska...

* Until 230 PM MDT.

* At 146 PM MDT, a Gordon Rushville fire department reported a 
  landspout tornado briefly touching down 11 miles west of Merriman, 
  or 17 miles northeast of Gordon, moving southeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Landspout tornado.

  SOURCE...Emergency management confirmed tornado.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* The tornado will be near...
  Merriman around 215 PM MDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include

miles south of Martin, moving southeast at 25 mph.
