  Central Lincoln County in southeastern South Dakota...

* Until 230 AM CDT.

* At 158 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both
  tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located near
  Canton, moving northeast at 65 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

NORTHWESTERN LYON COUNTY...

At 211 AM CDT, a severe squall line capable of producing both
tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was located over
Larchwood, or 11 miles northeast of Canton, moving northeast at 60
mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

  Lester around 215 AM CDT.
  Rock Rapids around 220 AM CDT.
