  Southern Adams County in southwestern Iowa...
  Northwestern Taylor County in southwestern Iowa...

* Until 415 PM CST.
    
* At 325 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 8 miles southeast of Villisca, or 10 miles southwest of
  Corning, moving northeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

ADAMS AND NORTHWESTERN TAYLOR COUNTIES...
    
At 342 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Corning, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southern Adams and northwestern Taylor Counties, including the
following locations... Corning Municipal Airport and Prescott.
