* At 212 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain 
  has fallen in some locations. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 
  inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM EDT THIS 
AFTERNOON FOR WEST CENTRAL WORCESTER, SOUTHEASTERN FRANKLIN, CENTRAL 
HAMPDEN AND SOUTHEASTERN HAMPSHIRE COUNTIES...

At 246 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the initial 
thunderstorms that moved across the region resulted in widespread 1 
to 2 inches of rain. There was a temporary lull in the activity, but 
additional showers and thunderstorms are expected to move into the 
region over the next hour or two. This coupled with the earlier 
heavy rain may result in the potential for flash flooding.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
