rain have fallen in some locations. The expected rainfall rate is
1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.

AFTERNOON FOR WESTERN WORCESTER, SOUTHEASTERN FRANKLIN, NORTHWESTERN
HAMPDEN AND SOUTHERN HAMPSHIRE COUNTIES...
At 244 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the initial
thunderstorms that moved across the region resulted in widespread 1
to 2 inches of rain. There was a temporary lull in the activity, but
additional showers and thunderstorms are expected to move into the
region over the next hour or two. This coupled with the earlier
heavy rain may result in the potential for flash flooding.
